Congratulations to Roots Of A Rebellion for winning the slot at this year's Live On The Green!  Billy Swayze and Kansas Bible Co. were a BLAST to play with, as well.  Again, thanks to YOU, the voters, and Lightning 100 for supporting HOT MESS throughout this event!

YOU DID IT! THANK YOU! Because of all of your support, we have made it to the Lightning 100's Music City Mayhem "FINAL FOUR" battle of the bands at Tin Roof!  We all feel so blessed to have such great and supportive family, friends and fans--THANK YOU.  If you're in the Nasvhille area, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE make your way to the TIN ROOF this Thursday, April 12th--The audience decides who wins the slot at Live On The Green and we need all the support we can get!

THIS THURSDAY, APRIL 5th, is the FINAL ROUND OF VOTING! If we win Thursday, we make it to Lightning 100's Music City Mayhem "Final Four" and will battle it out in a live show at the Tin Roof against 3 other bands for a much-coveted slot at LIVE ON THE GREEN.  Please, like you have in the past, vote and help us spread the word!  REMEMBER: ALL VOTING TAKES PLACE ONLINE! The competition has been narrowed down from hundreds of bands, so you can imagine how competitive this whole process is.  SO COMPETITIVE, in fact, that we've brought out the BIG GUNS: a high budget video featuring a talking dog! THAT is how BAD we want it! Thanks for the support guys!  See you (online) at the polls THIS THURSDAY, APRIL 5th!

OK, folks! THIS THURSDAY (March 29th) is VOTING DAY! We need all the support we can get to make it to the "Elite Eight" of Lightning 100's Music City Mayhem.  The polls open at 10am (CST)--and close at Midnight (CST) --That's 8am and 10pm for you West Coasters! Happy Belated New Year everybody! We've arrived in Nashville, Tennessee! 





Nashville is amazing! The music, the food, and the city itself are all incredible. We're in love! 

IN OTHER NEWS: Since Pete is going to be busy with his other band this year we held auditions for a new drummer last week. We are so thrilled to announce the newest member of the Hot Mess family... TOM MYERS! We had our first band practice yesterday... and it was amazing. We can't wait to start gigging!!

UPDATE: December 7th, 2011

It's official! Hot Mess departs for Nashville, TN on January 2nd, 2012!! 

We'll be keeping you posted along the way. Make sure to check back for updates and video posts highlighting our journey to the South!

We'd also like to thank everyone who supported us during our "Final Show Series." We played five different venues in the area and were overwhelmed by the love and support that we were shown. Our final show at Duffy's Tavern, on December 3rd, was truly one of our best nights as a band so far. We were all blown away by the tremendous amount of love and encouragement we were shown. It was a night to remember. For our encore we played a medley of "We Will Rock You" (Queen) and "Bohemian Rhapsody" (Queen). You can watch a video of the performance HERE!
